High Performance Computing Facility Centre

High Performance Computing Facility Centre has been established to provide parallel computing facility for addressing complex computational problems in agriculture and allied sectors. The HPC cluster consists of 1-master node, 1-GPU node and 4-compute nodes along with an external storage system for 100 terabytes (TB) with computing capacity of 30 TFLOPS. The master node will manage and process the computation in 1-GPU node and 4-compute nodes in parallel ways. All relevant pipelines are in Linux environment and will facilitate computing related to modeling, simulation, image processing and prediction. HPC pipelines also configured to the customized software to carry out Omics data analysis, crop disease identification, crop modeling and simulation to simplify the data complexity in agriculture and allied research.
