Pulses Seed Hub
The project is operating at six KVKs viz. Baragarh, Bhadrak, Deogarh, Kalahandi, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj-I from 2016-17 with funding support from ICAR. There was sanction of Rs. 1.0 crore under revolving fund and Rs. 50.0 lakh for infrastructure work on construction of seed storage godown and seed processing plant to each KVK. Foundation and certified seeds of pigeonpea, greengram, blackgram and chickpea are produced in farmers’ field through direct involvement of KVK scientists.
