INTRODUCTION
The courses offered cover a range of disciplines, including Agriculture, Veterinary science, Agri-engineering, Fishery science, Forestry Science, Horticulture science, Community Science, Basic Science, MCA, Agribusiness Management, Msc Bioinformatics etc..
The curriculum is designed to develop students’ attitudes and skill sets, making them competent and confident
Professionals.
Each constituent college and agro-polytechnic center has a placement cell with respective officer in charge for monitoring placement activities.
These cells collaborate with government organizations, corporate sectors, private companies, NGOs, and other agencies to
secure employment opportunities for students based on their qualifications.

PLACEMENT CELL ACTIVITIES
Placement cells 0f constituent colleges under OUAT engage in activities to facilitate employment opportunities for final year and pass-out students.
Coordination with government and private organizations for on/off-campus recruitment drives.
Maintenance of a computerized database for students and employers, including job seekers and job providers.
Sending official invitations through mail & visiting to various organizations for campus recruitment drives.
Personal enrichment activities, such as pre-placement training programs, to enhance students’ personality, communication skills, and professional competencies.
Facilitation of pre-placement talks, online/offline written tests,group discussions, and personal interviews during recruitment drives.
INTERNSHIP PROGRAMMES
Most of the final year students of Agriculture, allied & other courses are now having compulsory in-plant training in industry & other
Sectors for 8- 10 weeks.
The undergraduate students of college of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry undergo Internship programme for a period of 1 year during the 5th year B. V. Sc course programme.
Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, Forestry, Fishery and Horticulture & Community Science students undergo Industry Attachment or in-plant training during the final year of UG courses under students’ ready programme.
The students of Centre for Post Graduate Studies namely MCA, MBA (Agri Business Management) & M. Sc. Bioinformatics students are also undergoing their summer internship as well as final internship & project work associated in different industries/corporate sectors.
