College has an NSS unit. The students actively engage themselves in social activities like Special camps, One-Day Camps on different aspects such as Environmental Awareness, AIDS Awareness Campaign, Sanitation and Hygiene, Literacy Programme Awareness, Social Forestry Programmes etc. through the NSS unit of the college. Students also attend to National integration Camps, and organize Blood donation camps.

Swachh Bharat Abhiyan is organized by the students and staff of College of Fisheries with an intention to keep the college premise and nearby villages clean.
