An ICAR sponsored Short Course on ‘Fish Seed Production and Quality Assurance’ was conducted in the college during 5-14th February 2019. A total no of 15 participants from ICAR, SAUs and other universities participated in the said training programme. Prof. Saumyendra Nanda was the course co-ordinator of the training programme. The training programme was well planned with inclusion of both theory and practical classes on recent, farmers oriented and field based experiences. A good training manual, was released and distributed among participants, which based on the lectures delivered by the experts being invited from the renowned ICAR Institutes and SAUs along with retired professor and scientist.
