The campus provides adequate opportunity for co-curricular activities of students. There are one designated cricket field, one volley ball court and a badminton court. Indoor games facilities such as Carrom, Chess, Table Tennis are there in hostel. An athletic society is there to manage day to day activities of the games and sports. It also organizes annual sports day.
Three hostels are provided to accommodate horticulture students, namely Maheswari Girls’ Hostel, Ghanteswar Girls’ Hostel, and Gangadhar Boys’ Hostel. These hostels offer various amenities, including well-equipped mess facilities, pure and chilled drinking water, and indoor games facilities, etc.
The Anti-ragging monitoring cell includes the Superintendents and Assistant Superintendents of boys’ and girls’ hostel and senior faculties of the College to observe the activities of students in the hostels and college round the clock.
A unified Dramatic Society has been established to oversee the cultural activities of both College of Agriculture as well as College of Horticulture. The college annually organizes dramatic functions to promote students’ extracurricular involvement. Students from this campus have also showed their talents in inter-college competitions and at the state and national levels during Agri Unifest. Additionally, cultural events are periodically conducted during the Welcome function, various festivals, and farewell functions.
