NSS Unit

The NSS unit of the College regularly arranges both on-campus and off-campus camps that engage students in a wide range of activities. These activities include cleaning the hostel and college premises, organizing plantation programs, taking care of saplings, weeding the agro-forestry plots, participating in blood donation drives, conducting soil testing, and raising awareness through various national launched programs. Additionally, students from our college actively participate in state NSS unit camps, receiving numerous accolades and recognition at the university level. Recently, NSS volunteers from College of Horticulture participated in “NSS tribal empowerment camp” and “State integration camp” and awarded with “Best volunteer”.

Personality Development

The college collaborates with IDP NAHEP to organize personality development programs, which aim to enhance students’ abilities in group discussions for exams like CAT and job interviews. These programs encompass foundational English classes that concentrate on enhancing soft skills, including functional grammar, spoken English, group discussions, personal interviews, and presentations. The primary objective is to equip students with the essential skills required to excel in their professional careers.
