The College of Basic Science and Humanities, Bhubaneswar, a constituent college of Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology was established in the year 1964. Situated in the capital city of Odisha, the college is one of the premier institutions in the state that offers +2 Science, Under graduation, postgraduation as well as Ph.D. programme in Science. The academic program covers UG (Honours) courses in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany, Zoology, Microbiology, Biotechnology and Computer science, PG courses in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany, Zoology, Microbiology and Biotechnology, Ph.D. in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany, Zoology & Microbiology. The student intake capacity of the college is around 750.
