With the passage of the Prevention, Prohibition, and Redressed Act 2013, a woman safety cell is an unavoidable prerequisite for high-quality instruction and research in higher education institutions. Here in our institution a woman safety cell is made for a safe, secure, and supportive learning environment for the students as well as for the female employees.

Objectives:

• To educate female Students on gender issues that affect women’s safety in all social strata.
• To establish an atmosphere of gender fairness where men and women can collaborate in confidence and with self-respect.
• To spread awareness of the laws and rights those pertain to women
• To inculcate in students a sense of accountability and to promote an optimal work and study environment helping in improving the self-confidence and self-esteem of female university instructors, employees, and students
