NSS

The most important and prioritised aspect of transforming a sour society into a buoyant one is academics. As a result, the National Services Scheme has developed a unique way of absorbing, teaching, and enriching the performance of undergraduates.

Despite their academic success, the students and NSS volunteers demonstrated the significance of technical education by launching various extracurricular activities.

Regular Activities of NSS
  • For the purpose of the students’ general personality development, lectures on diverse topics are being planned.
  • The NSS volunteers observe many holidays, such as International Yoga Day, World AIDS Day, NSS Foundation Day, Independence Day, Republic Day, International Women’s Day, etc.
  • Plantation programmes are organised annually.
  • Additionally, blood donation camps are planned.
  • Periodically, cleaning campaigns are arranged as part of the “Swachh Bharat Mission” to keep the college campus, dormitory facilities, lecture halls, roadways, civil hospitals, etc. neat and tidy. The gathered dried leaves and other biomass are then used for composting.
  • The NSS wing set up a stress management session to educate the students on stress management techniques.
