There has been increasing demand for horticultural crops more particularly fruit and ornamental ones in both urban and rural areas of India. Quality planting material (QPM) is the key input for successful horticultural crop-production, both in terms of quality & quantity. Learning through demonstration of these technologies is necessary to update and upgrade the knowledge and skill of nursery men and workers at a grass root level for up scaling the QPMs production. College of Agriculture, Bhawanipatna under Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology will serve as a hub for providing training and demonstration to not only the farmers as well as the nursery people in the district and students.
