Three air conditioned smart class rooms with green/white board, LCD projector, digital podium, furniture, electrical fittings, audio visual aids, interactive boards, etc. for effective delivery of the curriculum.

Laboratories

Seven well equipped laboratories (Plant Protection lab., Plant physiology lab , Plant Science lab, Soil Science lab, combined Entomology and Nematology lab, Seed Science lab ,) for smooth conduction of practical work.

Library

A well equipped central library with various books, manuals and magazines for strengthening the academic and research mission.

Examination Hall

An examination hall of 440 capacity with modern furnitures, air condition, CCTV cameras with power back up, pure drinking water facility available for easy conduction of examination. A separate room is available for examination related works adjacent to the hall with computer and all accessories like printer, scanner, photocopier etc.

Internet cell

The college internet cell has … number of computers with wifi connection for smooth functioning of the college activities.

Placement cell

The placement cell of college co-ordinates with various private companies, NGOs and organizes recruitment at the college campus. NGO like Pradan has recruited our students.

NSS

Various NSS activities are taken up by the students for proper skill development and awareness. There is a separate NSS room handled by the officer in charge of all programmes under NSS.

RAWE

RAWE is a programme for imparting quality, practical and production-oriented education for agriculture degree. The rural agricultural work experience helps the students primarily to understand the rural situations, status of agricultural technologies adopted by farmers, prioritize the farmers’ problems and to develop skills & attitude of working with farm families for overall development in rural area.

The Agriculture Development Associate (Krushi Unnat Sahayogi) Prog. (KUS-2022)

The Directorate of Agriculture & Food Production, Govt. of Odisha took a new initiative to involve the final year Agriculture/Horticulture undergraduate students in their RAWE programme for implementation of its flagship schemes & programmes at grass root level by creating awareness campaigns, pest surveillance, conducting training and demonstrations, registering the farmers in different schemes and programmes as well as collecting feedback information etc .

Agro-Industries Attachment Programme (In-Plant Training)

In second phase of the Student’s READY programme (Agro-Industrial Attachment Programme), they are attached to different Agro based industries for gaining the practical knowledge from 21.11.2022 to 02.01.2023 to study the problems from industrial perspective. It is meant to correlate theory and actual practices operating in various agri-horti based industries. The students were exposed to industrial environments, to various machineries and various processed products.
