  • In Mango, the foliar application of micronutrient Arka Mango Special @ 5g/l (developed by IIHR, Bangalore) just before flower bud initiation stage and at marble stage helps to retain more number of fruits/plant (209.3) and fruit weight (201.0g) and there by recorded maximum yield of 6.55 t/ha with B:C of 4.6.
  • In cowpea, application of 75 % soil test dose (STD) i.e., 18.75 : 37.5 : 30.0 kg NPK/ha + seed treatment with Rhizobium Bio fertilizer@ 20 g/kg of seed + PSM (Phosphate Solubilizing Microorganism) @ 4kg/ha + vermicompost @ 2.5t/ha) recorded highest pod yield of 10270.00 kg/ha with B:C of 3.78 .
  • In ground nut, the highest pod and haulm yield (2287.40 & 2925.37kg/ha) with B:C of 2.65 were obtained when STD (25:50:40 NPK kg /ha ) was applied along with Ammonium Phosphate Sulphate @ 20 kg S/ha and liquid Sulphur formulation @ 0.5 % was sprayed at 15-20 DAS.
  • In kharif groundnut, soil application of sulphur @ 20kg /ha (Bentonite Sulphur) and spraying of boron @ 0.3% (Borax) twice before and after flowering (20 and 40 DAS) along with recommended doses of fertilizer (20-40-40 kg N: P: K/ ha) produced highest yield (17.14q/ha).
  • In groundnut, the module i.e., seed treatment with Imidacloprid 600 FS @ 5 gm / Kg + yellow sticky trap 50 nos. / ha after 25 DAS + Clothianidin 50WDG @ 0.1gm/l at 30 DAS + Emamectin benzoate 5 SG @ 0.3g/l at 40 DAS recorded lowest insect pest infestation with highest yield and B:C ratio (1015 kg/ha & 1.87).
  • In brinjal, IPM module (Neem Cake (NC) + Pheromone Trap (PT) + Clipping of Twigs (CT) along with alternate spray of Flubendiamide and Cartap-hydrochloride at 10 days interval at 40 DAP) recorded lowest shoot and fruit damage with maximum number of natural enemies and highest yield of 289 q/ha.
  • In Cucumber, foliar spraying of Cyromazine 75 WP @ 250 g/ ha at 30 DAS and 2nd and 3rd spraying at 15 days interval recorded lowest leaf infestation of Serpentine leaf miner and highest yield of 106.2q/ha.

  • Emamectin benzoate 5SG recorded significantly lowest larval population (0.37 larvae/plant) and lowest plant and capsule damage by Antigastra (5.13% and 2.13%) with highest seed yield of 591.67 kg/ha of sesame with B: C ratio 2.34.
  • Chemical treatments comprising of seed treatment with carbendazim @ 3g/kg + spray of tebuconazole 50 % + trifloxystrobin 25 % @ 0.5 g/l at flowering initiation stage (45 DAS) and second spray at capsule formation stage (60 DAS) are recommended for minimizing stem and root rot, Cercospora leaf spot and Phytophthora blight as well as maximizing the yield of sesame.
  • For farmers going for organic sesame cultivation, seed treatment with Trichoderma viride @ 10g/l + furrow application of enriched T. viride (2.5 kg of T. viride + 100 kg vermicompost) @ 250 kg/ha followed by Rhizosphere inoculation of T. viride at thinning and spray at flowering and capsule stage @ 5g/l are recommended for minimizing disease incidence.
