  1. In medium duration Direct Seeded Rice weed control by pre-emergence application of (Pretilachlor 6% + Bensulfuron methyl 0.6% GR) @ 660 g ai/ha fb Hand Weeding at 20 DAS produced higher grain yield (4169 kg/ha), which was 15 and 115% more than 3 HW and weedy check, respectively, with maximum net return of Rs.47079 and return/rupee invested (2.09).
  2. Application of 120:60:60 kg/ha N:P2O5:K2O produces 28 % higher grain yield than RDF (80:40:40 kg/ha N:P2O5:K2O) in transplanted paddy.
  3. Seed treatment with Bijamrit+ soil application of Jivamrit @250l/ha + neem oil @1500 ml/ha mixed with cow urine @250l/ha considerably reduce incidence of stem borer and leaf folder with yields ranging from 5.6 t/ha to 5.15 t/ha compared to 4.08 t /ha yield in untreated control.
  4. Seed treatment with Carboxin 37.5%+Thiram 37.5% DS + Soil Drenching with Carbendazim 12%+Mancozeb 63% WP @1.5g/l and Chlorothalonil @1.5g/l water and Tebuconazole 25.9 % EC @ 1ml /l is very effective against stem rot disease of groundnut.
  5. For successful management of rice blast disease, seed treatment with Tricyclazole 75% WP @ 2.5g/ kg seed+ Foliar spray of Tricyclazole 75% WP @ 400 g/ha has been found effective to reduce disease incidence and increase grain yield.
  6. Application of 75% STD +300 kg SiO2 / ha is very effective in increasing yield and yield attributing character, amelioration of acidic soil and reduction in Iron and Manganese toxicity. Maximum Harvest Index (HI),Relative Agronomic Efficiency (RAE) and Agronomic Efficiency (AE) are maximum in case of 75% STD+300kg SiO2/ha. It has also a positive effect on increasing available N, P, K and S status in post-harvest soil as compared to initial soil test value.
  7. For organic pest management in rice, the module consisting ofseedttreatment with Pseudomonasfluorescens@10g/kg + Green Manuring with Dhaincha+ Soil application of Vermicompost @1.5 t/ ha and Neem cake @2.5q/ ha at planting+ Soil application of Jivamrut @250l/ha at 30, 45 and 60 DAT + Pheromone trap + release of Trichogrammachilonis6 times @1 lakh/ ha + Foliar spray of Beauveria bassiana @1.25 l/ha at30, 45, 60 and 75DAT can be recommended.
  8. For effective management of white flies and green hoppers in bitter gourd, the farmers are advised to adopt the IPM module constituting seed treatment with Thiamethoxam 30 FS @5ml/ kg seed + micronutrient Zinc sulphate @25kg/ ha + Carbofuran 3G @ 30kg/ ha + Yellow Sticky Trap at 2-3 leaf stage + Alternate spray of Diafenthiuron 50WP@600g/ ha and neem oil @1.5 l/
  9. Neem Cake @2.5q/ha at planting + Pheromone Trap @62/ha at 25 DAP + regular clipping of affected twigs + Flubendiamide 480SC spray @200 ml/ha + Cartap hydrochloride 50% SP spray @750g/ha alternately at 10 days interval for 3times after 40 DAP’ is recommended for successful management of fruit and shoot borer in brinjal
  10. Application of potassium phosphite(K3PO3)reduces disease severity of leaf blast and brown spot and incidence of sheath rot in rice. Farmers should go for foliar spray with K3PO3 @ 7.5ml/ l water + Soil application of K3PO3 @7.5ml/ l water and with foliar spraying of Tricyclazole 75%WP @ 300g/ha (twice at15 days interval) minimize disease infection and maximize yield.
