Objective

The Seed Research Farm in Gambharipali, Bargarh is a research and development center dedicated to the improvement of seed quality and production. This farm is established on 14th September 1979 and is operated by the Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT). Its primary focus on the development, promotion, and supply of high-quality seeds of rice varieties for maintaining the seed chain and to cater to the needs of the farmers in the region, along with its focus on improving seed quality and production, helps to increase agricultural productivity, promote sustainable agriculture, and improve the livelihoods of farmers in the region.
